Gandalf the Savior

In this clip, it represents the passion death and resurrection of Christ through Gandalf. Gandalf stops while they are running away in order to endure a battle against Balrog. He then sacrifices himself and saves everyone. And soon we see that Gandalf awakens from his state of what appears to be death and he resurrects as Gandalf the white.
