I analyzed how God's plan is revealed in Acts 1 Jesus Taken Up to Heaven and also how the Redmeption and Ascension tie together.
Between the Resurrection and Ascension Jesus spoke about the Kingdom of God and taught the Apostles more about their faith and mission on earth. We can learn that God is creating a "blueprint" for the future Christians/Catholics. He wants the Apostles to be able to have the power to forgive sins through the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist so man can be forgiven of their sins and later pass down that power. Redemption is all about how Jesus died for all our sins so we can rejoice with Him in His Kingdom. The Resurrection, Ascension, and the time for preparation between those two divine events are all like "puzzle pieces" that fit together for one greater purpose. They make the lifelong goal to be able to rejoice with God in Heaven possible for mankind.
