MR 4.D: Justin Martyr First Apology and The Last Supper Connection

Justin Martyr Apology connects to the Last Supper because the Apology talks about how the Eucharist is celebrated. The Eucharist is the bread and wine that become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. It is His ultimate sacrifice because He gives up himself to mankind in order that mankind can reach salvation and manifest with God in His ultimate Kingdom. The Apology describes how Christians come together on the Holy Day (Sunday) to pray, worship, and reflect. It describes specifically what is done during the ritual of preparing the Eucharist, and the Eucharist in specific. He wrote this around 150 A.D. to a Roman emperor at the time to clarify any false beliefs or conclusions about the Eucharist.  The Eucharist is also the ultimate sacrifice of the Suffering Servant to man because God gave up His only Son to us in order that we can saved from our sins.
