Gandalf vs The Balrog

In the beginning, Gandalf sacrifices himself for the rest of the group as Jesus sacrificed Himself for humanity. The Balrog represents darkness/evil and Gandalf symbolizes light/goodness as Jesus and Satan did. The battle between Gandalf and the Balrog takes place in multiple places as the battle between Jesus and Satan is universal. When Gandalf defeats the Balrog he falls down off the tower and when Satan was defeated by God he left the Heavens and went down into Hell. Gandalf was resurrected as Jesus was, this event is symbolized by the whitle light/purity on Jesus and Gandalf.
