MR 4.D Analysis Justin Martyr

Justin Martyr is explaining his faith I think. Justin Martyr's first entry is briefly touvhing on the events that happen in mass. The mass, which he calls the place where people assemble, is a place that takes away sin. Also, he talks about how people say amen (so be it) whenever they agree with something. He also emphasizes the importance of the eucharist. This is very important because it shows that even back in Just Martyr's time, they fully understood the power of the eucharist. I think that in the 2nd century, people fully understood the importance of the eucharist. Justin says that it is not like common bread that people get, it is a bread that has his savior in it. I think that is the way we should all think about the bread. People now overlook the signifigance of the bread, we need to view it as the bread of our savior.
